    We are gearing up advance for the Christmas Season 2009, which will be followed by Service Season 2010.  We are looking to grow, but require the right individual to meet the challenges that lie head.  So far, each service season has been busier than the previous, and Service Season 2009 was no exception.

    Our 2009 busy service season was a great success, with Independent surveys that placed our Apple Authorized Service Locations 100% overall satisfaction, exceeding the nationwide goal of 90%.  As such the service department has grown beyond it’s status as the number one in Brantford.

    iC SuperCOMPUTERS is now the number one Apple Authorized Service Provider for Brantford, Brant County, Boston, Paris, Scotland, Burford, St. George, Ancaster, Ohsweken, Caledonia, Hagersville, Jarvis, Port Dover, Simcoe, Turkey Point, and surrounding areas.

    In addition people from Cambridge, Kitchener, Guelph, Toronto, Niagara, Woodstock and other locations (as far away as Toronto and Perth) travel on a regular basis to our log cabin service centre and have come to trust the quality, promptness, and friendliness they get from what has become the last of the “Mom and Pop”, “Bricks and Mortal”  style Mac stores.

   In 2008 iC SuperCOMPUTERS received rave reviews as the No. 1 Apple Authorized Service Provider in Six Nations, Brant County, Haldimand County, Norfolk County and surrounding areas.

    Fred Vermeer, Apple Macintosh Certified Technician, has the qualifications to man iC SuperCOMPUTERS’ new service command-line post at the heart of the iC mission control centre. 

    The online systems, advanced diagnostics software, custom service tools, and tight logistics are just some of the factors that help the iC Service Centre leap frog to the front positions in terms of speed, performance and accuracy.  But, the tools and technology in the unskilled hands can quickly spiral out of control.

    The iC Service Centre is leading the emergence of a new breed of IT professional, the 'versatilist', who will have technical aptitude, local knowledge, knowledge of industry processes to navigate an increasingly sophisticated virtual environment through the challenges of previously unexplored frontiers that appear on an almost daily basis.

    While many people desire the profession, the reality is that only a select few technicians can handle the pressure with sustained consistency and committment over time.

        During the past two years we received countless stories from customers who stated that prior to the creation of the new iC Service Centre typical wait times were 3 weeks to a month for simple repairs.  The repairs were often expensive and in some cases inadequate.  And, now, for the first time, they were delighted to experience a wait time that was less than a week.  The average wait time for Apple repairs requiring a major part replacement is typically 4 days or less.  Simple repairs are often completed by the next business day (or, in some cases, sooner).

       Rush service and priority-level service is available at an additional charge.  These are standard charges that typically apply regardless of whether or not the product is under warranty.

    Although rush service and priority-level service is NOT covered under the Apple warranty, quite often customers of iC SuperCOMPUTERS receive same day service for simple issues at no charge. These optional services, free to iC SuperCOMPUTERS customers, are typically billable or unavailable at the other non-Apple authorized locations.  These options are at the discretion of the store.  

    We understand that service is a very sensitive issue for most people, regardless of the platform, the store, or the technician.  We don’t expect to please everyone.  But we do expect that everyone will be treated fairly and we will make our best efforts for those, who in turn. treat us fairly.   

    Unlike some warranties that are purchased at many non-Apple authorized stores, the warranties purchased at iC SuperCOMPUTERS are world-wide.   While the other warranties may only be good at a particular store it was purchased from, iC maintains added value to the customer by offering world-wide warranties are good at Apple Authorized Service Providers all over the world.

    If a customer is away from home or has relocated we know that they’re computer service needs can still be meant with a consistent high quality available from any of the Apple Authorized Service Providers in countries all over the world.

    And, if a customer is unhappy, for any reason, with our new service centre, we will gladly recommend an alternative service source.

    This is good for both iC and iC customers.  Customers can take their repairs to a place that is best suited to their needs and this helps keeps iC SuperCOMPUTERS committed to being the place to be.


   During 2007 Apple Macintosh Certified Technician, Wray Anderson of iC SuperCOMPUTERS was busy working hard at building the new Authorized Service Centre.

    With the help of Scott Schilter, under the direction of Greg Schilter the foundation of a new and ambitious service centre - the first of it’s kind in the area, was built.

    If you do not have your invoice number and/or serial number handy, you may call your sales rep at the store during regular business hours or call the AppleCare toll-free line.

    The iC Local Tech Support line is limited to regular store hours and for issues that do not require extensive call times.  Make sure you leave a phone number for the tech to call you back in the event of interruptions.

    For longer durations you may be directed to make an appointment to talk with a tech or to drop off the service at the store.

    The Tech Support Email Service has a remote location that is separate from the store and the repair service centre.  Emails are answered after the store is closed on a 1st come, 1st served basis.  Please allow up to 24 hours for email responses and only one issue per email.

The technical support group is not equipped to respond to complaints regarding their Apple product.  Please contact Apple Customer Relations for any issues that are above and beyond the scope of providing after hours technical support.
