Learn how to make music with GarageBand

Ryan Johnson, of iC SuperCOMPUTERS, offers hands on training on GarageBand, one of the most exciting software applications of the decade.  Tonight, Ryan Johnson will be performing with his band, “The Breaking Wind” in Caledonia at the St. George Arms.

GarageBand (available from iC SuperCOMPUTERS) is the most inexpensive way to create professional music recordings.

This powerful presentation will offer something for everyone.  Musicians will be on hand to teach you how to play a song today - whether it’s a Christmas carol, a popular song or a song from your own iPod playlist or favourite CD.

Feel free to bring your own guitar, USB keyboard or your singing voice and participate in a live jam onstage at iC SuperCOMPUTERS’ A Sharp Cafe following the training.

Beginners and non-musicians can learn how to use this program to learn music and how to create professional commercial jingles, movie soundtracks, radio broadcast and special effects.

Musicians can learn how to record their band and produce their own CD (with custom album cover art).
