Annual Cornfest Festival 2008

Cornfest 2008

Ryan, of The Breaking Wind, jams live at the 17th Annual Cornfest 2008.  Just one of many technologies being showcased this weekend in Jarvis, Ontario.  This year’s Cornfest runs from August 14-17th.  There’s lots of fun for the whole family.  Food, drinks, live bands, rides, vendors and lots of excited people can all be found at this event.

Check out the Cornfest website at:

Visit our booth and say, “Hi” to Ryan, Eric or John.  They will be there to demo products, software, answer questions and help customers discover what’s the big deal with Apple computer these days.

Check out the iPod Touch, iWork ’08, iLife ’08 and Mac OS X Leopard in action.

Guitarist, keyboardist & singers are welcomed to stop in with their instruments and participate in a live session - with the possibility of recording their live performance.

Music professionals, including club owners can see how it’s all setup.  Basically, they are playing of a Mac portable, AC/battery operated portable speakers, guitar, keyboard, microphone and the cool iControl - not to mention the iPod Touch.

It’s a sweet setup.   Portable power.

By now you’re probably thinking how powerful is it?

    Nice of you to ask.

Several years ago, iC SuperCOMPUTERS was setup at Cornfest with the same configuration - minus the iControl. It was the year of the big blackout, the one that took down parts of Ontario, the one we eventually learned came from a Power failure in the U.S.

So there we were in a tent at Cornfest, jamming, when the power went out.  Of course, we didn’t notice that the power went out, but when we opening our eyes, it was dark and there were a lot of people at our booth.  For while, our booth was the only thing happening and people soon gravitated to the party.  It beat moping around in the dark.

So it survived an inter-continental power plant failure.  IT was great.  The powerful digital speakers could be heard by all.

So, by now you’re wondering how powerful sounding is it. Well, glad you asked.  To hear how powerful it can be visit the crew at the iC SuperCOMPUTERS booth in Cornfest, Jarvis, Ontario, and ask them to crank it up at notch.

Discover what an awesome portable studio it is.
