At the start of September (which is literally the 7th month, but officially known as the 9th month), we are at the Paris Fair.

    The biggest question asked this years was how to do I get to the shop from here (Paris Fair).  

    This is welcomed because it replaces the mythological statements that used to dominant the comments, like, “Yeah but, Macs don’t run Windows”, “Yeah but, there is a new virus that has attacked the Mac”, “PCs are Faster”, “PCs are cheaper”, “Macs can’t run Microsoft Office”, “Macs can’t network to PCs”, “Yeah but, the minimal requirements of my company is an INTEL-Based computer”, “Yeah but, Macs are only good for graphics”, “Yeah, but can Mac run my Windows games?”  Etc.  

    Instead, people of all ages delighted in taken their own ultra-cool Photobooth pictures and emailing them home.  Marveling at the DVD-Wide large screen monitor that served as a hint of what to expect on the new iMac 24” Intel Based Computers.  And wondering at the amazing new MacBook Pro as it run several Hi-Def movies and DVD movies on the large screen at the same time as PhotoBooth and it’s Built-in HQ webcam while others were were jamming on the 61-key MIDI keyboard and Electric Guitar live with GarageBand with incredible power from the new AC/battery capable, digital/analog equipped iPod Speakers - all simultaneously running flawlessy, with crystal clarity.

    It’s very refreshing that this year may possibly mark the end of the myths and the beginning of a new virus-free era.

QUICK ROUTE:

1. Turn Left onto Silver Road.

2. Turn Right at the “T” section onto Grand River Rd. North.

3. Turn Left onto William St in downtown Paris

4. Turn Right onto Willow St.

5. Turn Left onto Dundas St. (Brant Road No. 2)

6. Turn Right onto Paris Road

7. Turn Right onto Hwy 403 (East toward Hamilton)

8. Take the Cainesville - Garden Ave. Exit (South)

9. Turn Right on Garden Ave - Hwy 18 (South)

10. Continue Past Colbourne St. (Hwy 2/53) thru the lights.

11. Turn Left onto Brant Hwy 54 (Towards Cayuga)

    NOTE:  This is the first left after the Railroad Overpass.

12. Continue West on Brant Hwy 54 - 10 Km to 986 Hwy 54

 

Your Here: Take the driveway on your left (northside) to Johnson’s Log Cabin Plaza.

 

A SIMPLE PLAN:

1. Turn Left onto Silver Road.

2. Turn Right at the “T” section onto Grand River Rd. North.

3. Turn Left onto William St in downtown Paris

4. Turn Right onto Willow St.

5. Turn Left onto Dundas St. (Brant Road No. 2)

    - Continue on Dundas St. (Brant Road No. 5)

6. Turn Right on Park Road N.

7. Turn Left on Fairview Road (Lynden Rd.) West

    Follow it as it becomes Garden Ave (Hwy 18 South).

8. Turn Left onto Hwy 54

9. Travel apprx. 10km to the log cabin at 986 Hwy 54.
