Spooky Music for Halloween

Need a collection of scary music to play for Halloween?
There are several choices. The first being to visit Kids World and found out what the scariest songs for Halloween are.
There’s music from Monster Mash, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Rocky Horror Picture Show and Thriller (you may find that some people find Michael Jackson scary even without the music video).
Alternatively, you visit pop culture madness.
Or, you can create your own scary music.
And, if you’re up to it, you can come to the shop and learn how to play the icy scary theme song from the original movie, “Halloween” with Jamie Curtis.  It’s three notes that you can play on any piano or keyboard.  In fact, with GarageBand, you can even playing on your QWERTY keyboard.
And, if you ask, I may even show the original piano song I once used as a kid to scare off an intruder that broke into to the house one night.  FWD: This really works!
I’ll even show you how to get some really scary sound effects with GarageBand that anyone can play.

Even though there are people who find Michael Jackson scary, I’m going to continue listening to the classic Thriller song and watching the video.  I have fond memories of the “Spooky voiced guy named Vincent Price” calling my Uncle to buy a rare piece of pottery from a Native artist, I believe it was the last of a collection by Billy Chew.
Naturally, I was excited because I grew up watching many of his scary movies.
I recall being inspired by Billy’s Warrior Trail paintings.
I also recall meeting that scary voiced guy when he spoke at the American Cancer Research Foundation fundraising dinner on Rodeo Drive, BH.  That was the same event where I met the pop-art master Andy Warhol.  The only living witness to this that I am aware of is Peter Pan (Sandy Duncan).
Of course, there is at least one person I’m sure would remember this, that is the person I tutored on how to crash a celebrity funding raising event.  It was a $500/plate event, and neither one of us had $500.
I do remember one quote from that event, it was something to the effect that, ‘There are over 250 jobs that pay over $200,000/yr.  If we ever find a cure for cancer, it would devastate the economy’.
    Now that was scary.

Here are the notes to “Halloween”.
Played 2 octaves up from middle C using 6/8 timing, not 4/4.

    C#  F# F#  C#  F# F#  C# F# D F# (repeat)

And here are the magic GarageBand keys (using SHIFT-APPLE-K)

    O TT O TT O T L T (repeat)
