Gerald E. Picard is captain of a new technology developed out of 40 years of research at IBM known as Handology.
These days Mr. Picard is exploring a new frontier called iWeb to command a presence with exciting content in the known resource locator universe.
Being an avid Mac user, Gerald chose the iMac, with the IBM G5 processor of course, as a vehicle for the business enterprise.
There have been other Handology sites, but this one is special.  It’s a bold new step in his web development.  By diving in a brand new application that didn’t even exist prior to 2006, Gerald has created a very interesting “Work in Progress” that allows viewers see the actual development of his website as it unfolds.
It was his eagerness to dive into this project that has helped to influence the new look and feel of this months iC LINKS page, which also uses Apple’s new iWeb application.
iWeb is a web building tool included with iLife 06, which ships free with every new Mac.
Some of the more savvy Mac users may recognize some of the royalty-free stock footage used a eye-pleasing place holders for what’s to come.  It’s refreshing to return to the site on regular basis for a rare look at how it is unfolding.
While, the iC LINKS page has added a new Blog look, Gerald Picard is creating a multi-faceted concepts that features podcasting, blogs, photo gallery, training videos and more.
While this new web project promises to reach the outer universe, his Handology books, games, and training programmes will guide thru your own inner universe and provide you with powerful navigational tools and maps to explore the world of others you that you come in contact with.
It’s important to note that Handology is not the same as palm reading.  Handology is based on years of scientific research.  Basically, if you do something long enough patterns develops over the years in lines, shapes and markings on all sides of your predominant hand.  The same way a spreadsheet is used to make financial forecasts, these patterns can be interrupted to create your own forecasts on issues such as health, longevity, character traits and behaviour outcomes.
With just the bare hands, we see into our lives, and the lives of others, as a human “Work in progress”.
It’s a science that has caught the attention of Universities, include Laurier University in Brantford, Ontario.  Police agencies are also interested in Handology as an analysis tool for character traits, past behaviour patterns and likely future tendencies.
After checking out the information on his cool new site, I’ve come to the conclusion that Handology is going to the wave of the future (no pun intended).  This site gets you in on the ground floor.
