Dave Thompson is now accepting students.
It’s only the 3rd day of the new Links page created with iWeb and already I’ve been treated to more tasty, original, musical performances.
Today, it was a mix of jumpy, upbeat jazz and electric blues provided by Dave Thompson. During one of the impromptu blues solo riffs Jimi Hendrix oozed out, complete with wah-wah effects.
According to his website, www.davethompson.ca, Dave has graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Yet, tonight I drove thru Boston, on the Cockshutt Rd., on my way to Springarama 2006 and I didn’t see any sign of the Berklee College of Music. Oh, well. I just make sure to look doubly hard over the next couple of days as I travel to and fro Springarama at the Simcoe Aud.
Unless, of course, the site is referring to that other Boston, where I witnessed a 4th of July celebration. But, that’s another story.
In the meantime, stay tuned for the up and coming website from Dave. And,what makes me think there will be one, you ask? My first clue is that he now has iWeb.
