Today, I played DOOM III on a MacBook Pro with Intel Duo Core.
The Graphics were clear, smooth and detailed.  The speed was very fast and smooth.
Right from the start, the game was cool.  I loved the PDA that features videos, audio logs and documents that help you in your travels.  Luckily, I accidently scooped up someone else’s PDA that was left behind in the cafeteria.  It contained an audio log that provided me with the code I needed to access the weapons storage room. Very cool.  Soon I left for a second mission to enter the communications floor outside the building.  This is where I encountered my first battle with the Zombies.  What comes next was awesome, but, I won’t spoil it.  You’re one your own from here.
I recall playing the first DOOM game.  At the time, I was told that it was a programme designed to training U.S. Soldiers.  It wasn’t intended to get out the general public.  But it did, and the rest is history.
You can pick up the full game at the store, or download the playable demo.
