Warning!  The following photos may be too graphic or too warped for some adults. But, children, teens and most adults seemed to be having a great time with it.

    After introducing the area’s first ever Photobooth Live Event for the Haldimand-Norfolk Career Day 2006 at the Aud in Simcoe, Ontario (which was immediately followed at the Brant County Career Fair 2006 at the Civic Auditorium in Brantford) iC SuperCOMPUTERS has returned to Aud in Simcoe with the iC Photobooth / GarageBand Tour for Springarama 2006.

    The Photobooth tour featured the new iMac and MacBook Pro with the Intel Core Duo processors.  And, GarageBand featured the M-Audio USB-MIDI Keyboard and a Vintage Accoustic/Electric guitar.

    Now we know what everybody was looking at..

    People were invited to the photobooth to she how it works.  It didn’t take long for most people to begin posing and taking their own pictures and choosing their own effects to contribute to contagious self-directed photo phenomenon.

    The event was like a combination of the photo booth at the Mall and the Fun House (more so, the fun house mirrors).  Adding GarageBand to the photobooth isight webcam created a dynamically evolving atmosphere that at times was akin to Alice in Wonderland meetsThe Wizard of Oz synced to audio track of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon.

    Interestingly enough, this was the very location where iC introduced the first iPod Live Event several years ago.  For many, including teens, this was the first chance to touch, see, hear and experience the iPod.  Some people didn’t get it.  Some people immediately fell in love.  Some people predicted it would never make it on the market.  No one guessed it would become the most popular gadget of our time, changing our lifestyle forever.  

    In contrast, this year nearly everyone had, or someone in their family, had an iPod.

    Like the iPod, PhotoBooth fascinated people of all ages (children, teens, adults and elders).  While, musicians of all genres enjoyed the features of the new GarageBand.

    The year the iC PhotoBooth / GarageBand Tour 2006 is expected to make it’s appearance at Paris Fair, Caledonia Fair, Brantford Home Show, Career Day at Mohawk College in Brantford and the Norfolk County Fair.
