Thanks for you patience. We are in the experimental process of a new iCy LINKS page. Why? Well, for starters, I didn’t see any nominations for the Bloggies Award this year. I guess it means we’ll have to try harder. 2nd - I couldn’t afford the $4,000.00 for a basic website so I’m using the web builder that shipped free with my new intel Duo Core notebook. (To test whether it sucks or it rocks.) Maybe next year we’ll get at least one nomination. (At least a guy in Hamilton made it in the Bloggies.). If we don’t get any nominations, then I can say, “Intel Sucks”, but if we are nominated I can say, “MacBook Pro Rocks!”. Hey! It’s my blog, what the heck?

Final Cut Pro Goes Universal
At the start of the month, the big issue between the PowerPC and the Intel based Macs was in creative pro applications. Final Cut Pro and Logic ran in native mode on the PowerBook G4, but was not recommended for the new MacBook Pro. That’s changed.

Doom III
Today, I played DOOM III on a MacBook Pro with Intel Duo Core.
The Graphics were clear, smooth and detailed. The speed was very fast and smooth.
Right from the start, the game was cool. I loved the PDA that features videos, audio logs and documents that help you in your travels. Luck
